How do you express time in Indonesian (without verb conjugation)?

Short answer

Indonesian has no verb tense conjugation. Instead, time is expressed through time markers placed before or after the verb: kemarin (yesterday), tadi (earlier today), sekarang (now), nanti (later today), besok (tomorrow). For aspect: sudah (already / past completed), sedang (currently / progressive), akan (will / future), belum (not yet). The verb itself never changes form.
